Graham & Eunice Mountaine Hope Tribute Fund

My Mum was born in Miles Platting on the 12th of September 1942, my Dad on the 30th of September 1941. They were married on the 21st of October 1961 at Corpus Christi, Father Siveld presiding. A loving couple for over forty years and the perfect parents to their three children. Mum worked as a homecare worker for most of her working life, giving love and care to people who society seemed to forget. Dad was a fork lift truck driver, mainly working night shifts, to provide for his family. Selfless and caring to everyone around her with little thought for her own wellbeing is how I'd sum Mum up. Dad was a humble unassuming gentleman, who adored his wife and loved his children. My Mum was treated for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma at the Christie from 2000-2002, thanks to the treatment received, and a slice of good fortune, she recovered. My Mother received the very best care and support throughout her illness from each and every one of the staff. The most worrying time of her life was made just that bit easier by the cheerful and dignified way she was treated, The Christie gave us time, something no amount of money can buy. She sadly had to leave us on the 15th of March 2006. My Dad followed her on the 9th of November 2013, he was lost after she passed away. They are re-united forever now.
